About the song
I’ve never really thought I’d write a song about my father but the current circumstances left me no choice. This disease has really shattered our lives (mine and my mom’s) and we’re barely coping with it. Just like every other occasion; I find music as an artistic fashion to expose what’s in my heart.

My mom said. Who would’ve thought this army
of one would be defeated, the man’s finally
rested his mind is semi-deleted it can’t find any
coherent verbal statement, the fate’s bent
to deform this logic in his late rent-
life. The doctor reported his diagnosis
with chronic doses to slow this grotesque
malady and oppose its finality;
the inevitable demolition of mentality
a collision of insanity with his dying memory
dehumanized him and I try in every
rhyme to never be without optimism
but the doctor isn’t tellin’ good new; God I miss him.

only a random present he can afford to borrow
but not sure to follow. Life’s so unfair
I am near oblivion; yes I’m goin’ there
dad keeps forgetting about me
but I think it’s better this way; it’s more fitting I doubt he
had a reason to make me unforgettable
I’m despicable; not a good son I’m terrible
God’s done some miracles; so I wonder
does he ever hear me when I cry under
the social smiles every day I display
for all of my friends? I guess they just pray
for a less grey sky a brighter destiny
for the man I’m blessed to be his blood and history
